For most people qualities like honesty, integrity and religious beliefs are values.
🔹They are not your PERSONAL values, since these values have been imposed on you through society idealism or external authority, who project the way 👉“you should”, “you ought to” or “you have to” behave, to be socially acceptable.
Examples of “social Idealism” statements:
▪️You should be kind and honest.
▪️You have to be a giver, rather than a taker.
▪️You ought to put your in-laws and family needs above yours.
▪️You should be educated, employed, or married.
🔹The difference is PERSONAL values are your internal compass🧭 or your true north star⭐ pointing towards activities, people, and places that make you feel fulfilled and nourished. These personal values are as unique to you as your fingerprints 🖐🏻and your 👁️🗨️retinal pattern.
No outside authority like a parent, teacher, religious figure can define your values.
Only you can look inside your heart and soul❤️ and discover, what is truly most important to you and what you would want to be known for.
For example :
▪️If you value spending time, caring, and nurturing for your family, then you would want to be known as an amazing mother👨👩👧👦 or a homemaker.
▪️If You may enjoy 🎨 painting or playing basketball⛹️ , you would want to be known as a painter/ basketball player.
▪️If you enjoy establishing a business or 💰creating wealth, then you would want to be known as an entrepreneur or a wealth builder.
Therefore, our identity, decisions, and actions are all based on our values or things most important to us.
“We all want to be loved and appreciated for who we are and who we are is an expression of our highest priorities”
Dr. John Demartini

If you were to give a gift to someone and they just looked at it and tossed it aside without saying thanks, would you be inclined to give them another?
Of course not… 🤷🏻♀️
➡️ The universe also responds just as you do, on a much grander scale. It bestows gifts🎁 where they’re most appreciated. These gifts can come in various shapes and forms of pleasure, support and happiness.
If you are not grateful for what you’ve been given then why would the universe want to give you more?🤔
🔹 “The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings” – Eric Hoffer 🔹
I’m often asked, What is Gratitude?
It is a prayer of thanks 🙏🏻, where you recognize the perfection of what is and truly thankful for what has already been given, rather than praying to God and saying “Oh! Things are very bad please fix it!”
To those who are grateful, more gifts are given, unlike those who are ungrateful. 🎁
Nothing has ever happened nor can happen which is not a gift or a blessing, but it’s difficult to be thankful until you find the hidden benefit in what may seem at first to be a negative event.

When we share our dream with people, we experience varied kinds of response:
🔹 Some will welcome our dreams with bigger visions, more excitement, pushing us to work towards the same. 🎯 and encourage us to set the bar even higher for ourselves✈️.
🔸 While some may ridicule our vision or lovingly manipulate us into following their footsteps, by listing down all the possible facts on why the idea won’t work.
Ever wondered why two different responses to the same vision?🤔
Each individual view’s another’s goal from the perspective of their own ambition and goals for life❕
🔹The one’s who motivate us are individuals who have high ambition for themselves and others.
🔸Those who ridicule us cannot be blamed solely because they have a limited vision for themselves. Their life is governed by fear of failure in the past or future and therefore, believe life should be lead in a specific, monotonous way.
It is often the second kinds of reactions that influence us to doubt ourselves and build hesitation to pursue our vision.
So, be mindful 🤔of whom you choose to share your dream with and don’t let others’ opinions stop you from taking the first step in your journey. 🌈
May you have an enriching week ahead 💡
