My Story

The journey began with a little girl, sitting by her wooden desk, dreaming about what her ideal life would look like. All throughout my childhood, I was an avid dreamer, envisioning a certain kind of lifestyle, but not knowing how to achieve it.

Even when I entered college, I was unsure about what the ‘right’ career choice was for me and stuck to temporary jobs here and there.

Upon getting married, I knew I just didn’t want to be a ‘wife’. I felt the urge to do something, associate myself to a unique activity and expand my identity further than just Mrs Bedi & a mother of two children.

With the support of my husband, I enrolled myself into an Interior Designing course and launched into the world of seeing visions become reality, glossy pages of magazines transforming into layouts for my customer’s dream house. While having the freedom to be able to tell each wall’s story through the furniture around it was satisfying, I felt it was taking me away from my family.

Hence, I decided to take a step back from this career and step into the beautiful and full-time role of motherhood to provide my children with a secure childhood. As a homemaker, I aimed at becoming reliable for my family, establishing strong relationships with my kids and my husband. Their growth meant the world to me. Their hugs, love and kisses were my rewards.

With their support, I even stepped into the hat of a baker. Knowing that the food I made was the causes of their smiles was forevermore comforting than anything else.

Don’t get me wrong, the door slamming, and screaming to clean their rooms and keep the house in order is still there, but at the end of it all, I have been able to formulate a special bond with each of them.

Now, having been the mother of two loving teenagers who are on the verge of crafting their own life stories and the wife of a supportive husband Harveen Bedi who is chasing his dream, I knew that it was time for me to unleash my unseen potential.

The search was hard, the days were difficult where I succumbed to the self-doubt, subordination and ‘what will people say’. But today, with confidence I can say that after multiple hat-swapping I have found the purpose of my life, which is to inspire women to create their self-identity and improve their relationships with themselves and others.

As India’s ONLY female trained Demartini facilitator, I take it as my duty to push each  woman to pursue the life of their dreams, because I know that the little girl sitting on her wooden desk, imagined this exact life for herself.
